2016 – LOTUS ELISE CUP 250

Lotus has just introduced a new model that is at the top of the Lotus Elise line. The transmission is a six-speed manual.The chassis features an adjustable stabilizer bar, specific Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs, as well as an improved brake system, according to the higher power, with 288 mm ventilated discs on both axles and two-piston calipers in the front and one on the back. 2016 – LOTUS ELISE RACE 250 

Another day we said that the next generation of the Lotus Elise could arrive in 2020, and this week the British brand introduced the Lotus Elise Race 250. A model based on the Elise Cup 250, but different from this, will not be able to run on open roads. The new model only for circuits intends to surpass the previous Elise Cup 220 R.The engine will be the same as the Lotus Elise Cup 250, a 1.8-liter supercharged gasoline with four cylinders. This achieves a very low weight, below 900 kg – 31 kg less than the Cup 250.That’s with the optional Carbon Aero Pack. It is a body kit that adds some parts, such as the front splitter, the airfoil and the carbon fiber rear diffuser. Its standard body has already been adjusted for better aerodynamics. It can generate 66 kg of aerodynamic load at 161 km / h and no less than 155 kg of load at 248 km / h, which is its maximum speed. The Lotus Elise Race 250 is available from 53,500 pounds with a 20% tax included (about 230,000 reais).

Lotus will showcase a renewed Evora at the Geneva Motor Show, equipping it with more dynamic and more efficient skills.The Lotus Evora 400 thus assumes itself as an evolved sports car in which two-thirds of its components are new, including the 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine capable of producing 406 hp and 410 Nm of torque.
